A Note From Someone Tired of Buying the Same Shirt Twice

I Was Replacing Shirts Every Few Months. That Got Expensive.

I did the math one day and it stopped being funny. Every few months, another white or light shirt would get stained past the point I felt comfortable wearing it, and I'd just... buy another one.

A $2 spray was a lot cheaper than a $40 shirt. That's really the whole math behind why I started actually treating stains instead of replacing the clothes around them.

Now it's just part of doing laundry — spray, wait a few minutes, wash. The shirts that used to get quietly retired are still in my closet.

Not a big transformation story. Just fewer trips to buy shirts I already owned a version of.
